Privacy policy and data protection

The Institute of Ceramic Technology is responsible for the processing of the personal data provided by the User. Pursuant to the provisions in the applicable regulation on personal data protection - Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (RGPD) - relative to the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data received through website forms

DATA SOURCE: The data (e-mail address, name and surname, location, phone) processed by ITC are provided by the data subject and have been obtained through ITC´s relationship with said data subject.

PURPOSE OF THE PROCESSING: Sending of commercial communications relating to the Institute of Ceramic Technology´s activity.

LAWFULNESS: Data subject´s consent given by said subject clicking the "OK" boxes to consent to said subject´s data being processed in accordance with the purposes set out in the form and in this privacy policy.

RELEASE: The Institute of Ceramic Technology shall not release data to third parties, unless required by law.

In the case of forms for events or activities in which the data subject is going to participate, the essential data needed to organise such events or activities can be released to their organisers.

CONSERVATION: User data shall be conserved for the purpose of sending commercial information during the contractual relationship, until the data subject unsubscribes and for the period of time required by law in order to meet possible liabilities once the relationship has ended.

RIGHTS: The data subject shall have right of access, to rectification, cancellation, erasure, portability and restriction of processing or objection by writing to the Processor´s address, or by e-mailing gdpr@itc.uji.es and to the e-mails that are received.

Use of Cookies

ITC can use cookies when a User browses the website. Cookies are only associated with a particular computer´s browser (an anonymous User) and do not in themselves provide the User´s name and surname. Cookies enable ITC to recognise the website content preferences selected on previous visits by Users, to recall their preferences without Users needing to select them on subsequent visits.

Users can configure their browser to display a notice about receiving cookies and preventing cookies from being installed on their hard drive.
